Light Graffiti
Local AV artists TVLUX contributed to the opening and the final evening with live workshops of Light Graffiti, inveigling audience members and passersby to create illuminated portraits using homemade LED lights.
The results were finally projected upon the vent as a slideshow.

Light Graffiti is a simple exercise using a digital SLR camera on a tripod. Open up the shutter for a length of time – anything from 10 – 60 secs – and move lights in front of the lens and you create pretty light-trails.
The skill is in the first place making the lights out of LEDs found in all sorts of places, and secondly using them to create shapes, washes, stripes, silhouettes, text and portraits.
